Why Reliquiae

Reliquiae means remains. Relics. The pieces that outlast the room they were made for.

I keep coming back to the same image: a marble hand pulled out of the ground, still perfect, with no body left to belong to. I want to make objects that feel like that — like they were recovered rather than manufactured.

So the work borrows a classical spine and then pushes it forward a thousand years. Fluting and drapery, yes, but with edges that glow and seams that shouldn't be possible. Every piece is made once and never repeated.
